How your information is handled

Borrowable is operated by Ace Lending Solutions (Mangalon Pty Limited, ABN 31 125 066 766). This page explains what information Borrowable collects, why, who it goes to, and your choices. It sits alongside the Ace Lending Solutions privacy policy, which covers everything that happens once you become a client.

Borrowable is an AI assistant

The conversation on this site is with an artificial intelligence (AI) assistant, not a person. It gives general information and estimates from what you tell it. It doesn’t check your credit file, contact any lender or make any lending decision.

What we collect

Please don’t share health information, account or card numbers, tax file numbers or ID numbers. Borrowable doesn’t need them, and it is told not to repeat them if they are shared.

Why we collect it

To work out your estimate and report, to send your report to you and to Joshua when you ask, to contact you about your request, and to improve Borrowable. We only contact you about the request you made. If you don’t want to hear from us, reply “stop” to any email or text, or tell Joshua, and we won’t contact you again.

Who it goes to

Because some of these providers are overseas, your information may be handled outside Australia. We choose providers that protect information to a high standard, and we remain responsible for how it is handled.

On your device

Your conversation is saved in your own browser for up to seven days, so you can come back to it. It isn’t sent anywhere unless you send it. Tap “Start a different check” or “Start again” to clear it, especially on a shared device.

If you become a client

Before Joshua or the team give you credit assistance, you’ll receive a Credit Guide and privacy consent forms explaining how your information is used in an application, including credit checks, which happen only with your consent.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where the law allows. Contact Joshua on 0477 738 025 or joshuajamesace@gmail.com. If you’re unhappy with how your information has been handled, please tell us first so we can fix it (see Complaints). You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or 1300 363 992.
